For Employers & Investors

Hire student founders.
Post once, reach every center.

Plop runs the opportunities boards for university entrepreneurship centers. Post a job or internship and it goes to each center’s board and student email digest — the students who build things, not everyone with a .edu address.

$199 for 30 days across the network, billed only after your post is approved. Each center reviews what reaches its students.

Reaching students at

Who You Reach

The students who already chose the hard path.

Entrepreneurship centers attract a specific kind of student. They are the ones LinkedIn and the big career platforms can’t pick out of the crowd.

Early hires who get it

Students who spend their free time at the entrepreneurship center are self-selected for ambiguity, ownership, and speed. They understand what an early-stage role actually is.

Opted in, not spammed

Students subscribe to their center’s board and choose the categories they want. Your post arrives in a digest they asked for, from a source they trust.

Named centers, real brands

Each board is run by the center itself, at its own university. Your post shows up under a name students recognize, with you listed as the poster.

How It Works

Four steps. No account required.

1

Post

Fill in the role, how to apply, and a deadline. Takes a few minutes.

2

Plop approves

We check it fits student founders. If it does, you get a payment link: $199 for 30 days. Nothing is charged before that.

3

Centers review

Each center’s admin approves what fits their students. Nothing goes live without a human saying yes.

4

Students apply

Your post appears on the boards and in student digests. Applications come straight to your link or inbox.

FAQ

Questions employers ask.

Who sees my post?

Students at the entrepreneurship centers on the Plop network. Each center runs a branded board for its own community and sends email digests to students who subscribed. Your post goes to each center for review and, once approved, appears on that board and in its digests.

Does every center show my post?

No. Each center’s admin decides what fits their students, so a role that suits one campus may be passed over by another. That review is why students trust the board, and it is what makes the applications you do get worth having.

What can I post?

Jobs and internships, full-time or part-time, remote or on-site. If you run a competition, grant, accelerator, or startup credits program, you can post those too; they are always free.

What does it cost?

Job posts from employers are $199 for 30 days across the whole network, billed by card only after Plop approves your post. Internships, competitions, grants, accelerators, startup credits, and posts from universities, nonprofits, and student founders are free.

How do students apply?

However you choose: a link to your careers page or application form, or an email address. Plop does not sit between you and the applicant. Students see your name and organization as the poster.

How long does a post stay up?

Until the deadline or expiration date you set when posting. Boards remove expired posts automatically, so students never apply to roles that have closed.

A note for centers: community posts, student startups, competitions, grants, and accelerators stay free on Plop, and every post still goes through your approval queue. Employer posting exists so your students see real roles at companies that want to hire them.
