Plop is a SaaS platform that gives university entrepreneurship centers, innovation hubs, incubators, and accelerators a custom-branded opportunities board. Students use it to discover internships, jobs, competitions, grants, and accelerator programs — all in one place.

## Problem

University entrepreneurship centers struggle to share opportunities with students effectively. Opportunities get buried in email threads, scattered across Slack channels, or lost on bulletin boards. Students miss deadlines because there's no central place to check.

## Solution

Plop provides a dedicated, custom-branded opportunities board that lives on the center's own subdomain (e.g., youruniversity.useplop.com). It's a single page where all opportunities are posted, filtered by category, and discoverable. Students can subscribe to email notifications so they never miss a new posting.

## Key Features

### Custom Branding
Each center gets its own subdomain with their logo, colors, and branding. Plop becomes invisible — it looks like the center's own website. Example: Northwestern University's The Garage uses opportunities.thegarage.northwestern.edu.

### Opportunity Categories
Posts are organized into categories:

Anyone can submit an opportunity to the board. Submissions go through admin approval — admins review and approve with one click before posts go live. This keeps the board high-quality while allowing the broader community (alumni, partners, employers) to contribute.

### Email Subscriptions
Students enter their email to subscribe. They receive a notification whenever a new opportunity is approved and posted to the board. No app to download, no account to create — just an email address.

### Admin Dashboard
Center administrators get a full dashboard to:
- Review and approve/reject submitted opportunities
- Create and edit posts directly
- Manage subscriber lists
- Customize branding (logo, colors, subdomain)
- View board analytics

### Mobile-Friendly
The board is fully responsive and works on phones, tablets, and desktops. Students browse opportunities from their phones between classes.
